Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS) implementation is a multi-year, multi-level initiative. Done well, schools end each year with an additional layer of social, emotional, and behavioral support for students throughout campus. Whether you are a district leader looking to implement PBIS at several schools, or a school leader exploring whether PBIS makes sense for your site, Comprehensive Implementation is the best way to ensure that the time, resources, and effort you spend lead to the outcomes you want to see.
Comprehensive Implementation support is available at all three tiers of PBIS and usually involves a considerable amount of staff training and technical assistance. To find out more about what we’ll build at each tier, click here.
As much or as little support as you need.
Level 1
Your school will receive access to online, self-paced training corresponding to the Tier you’re working on. This ‘flipped-classroom’ model allows us to spend our time with your leadership team and your staff focused on building systems rather than learning content.
In addition to self-paced learning, we will also schedule to eight hours of onsite or remote PD to your whole staff in Tier 1, Tier 2, or Tier 3 PBIS, depending on your school’s readiness and commitment to the process.
Between sessions, you and I will meet to troubleshoot issues and plan team meetings.
Level 2
In addition to the services provided at Level 1, you’ll also get behind-the-scenes support with graphic design, branding, and meeting templates. With most PBIS training providers, this ‘hidden work’ gets lets left to you. At TGS Educational Consulting, we take this off your hands so that your team can focus on strengthening relationships and living your values out loud.
Level 3 (District-Level Implementation)
Besides the services provided at Level 1 and Level 2, I will work with you train up to six facilitators to use co-developed, district-branded materials to deliver trainings that can either build upon or in place of online content (differentiated materials for both learning scenarios).
This type of training typically includes:
- Professional learning content at PBS Tiers 1, 2, and 3
- Presentation materials (slides / branded handouts)
- Rehearsal, feedback, and re-rehearsal of professional learning sessions.

PBIS Tier 1
School-wide essentials.
Tier 1 is where schools should usually begin their PBIS implementation. Together, we’ll uncover school values and build the systems necessary to live those values out loud throughout your campus and beyond.
PBIS Tier 2
Systems to provide some extra support and care.
Tier 2 is where PBIS begins to “sing.” Once built, your Tier 2 systems will be ready to support any students who needs a little extra support and care to be their best, all within a framework that’s easy to implement and monitor.
PBIS Tier 3
Whatever we can, for as long as it takes.
Tier 3 supports are for the student who is always on your mind and heart, and for the staff working to meet their needs. At Tier 3, we will work together to build systems of support for individual students that are based on a comprehensive look at overall wellness, student-led goals, and care for the entire team and family.
