At TGS Educational Consulting, we know effective Tier 2 systems begin with better conversations. Starting this fall, we’re offering a yearlong Check-In/Check-Out (CICO) professional development experience designed to help schools build systems that truly support student growth and engagement.

This CICO Cohort is not just another training. It’s a targeted, structured cohort experience for schools looking to elevate their Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) practices, moving from compliance-based systems to authentic, values-driven connections.
Key Benefits for Your School Team
Participating school teams (up to three members per site) will:
- Attend 10 interactive virtual training sessions from August 2025 to May 2026
- Participate in 10 follow-up sessions after each live training at your time, pace, and schedule.
- Access practical implementation resources and ongoing coaching
- Network and collaborate with committed educators across districts
- Develop sustainable, student-centered Tier 2 supports
- Never chase a lost point card again
Cohort Session Dates and Times
All sessions will be hosted via Zoom for 90 minutes at a monthly date and time that works for you and your team.
You pick the calender window that works best for you–morning, afternoon, or evening–so the learning experience ligns up with your team’s rhythm.
Ideal Applicants for Our CICO Cohort
This opportunity is ideal for schools that:
- Currently implement or plan to implement a Check-In/Check-Out system
- Seek to enhance PBIS effectiveness, fidelity, and student outcomes
- Can assemble a dedicated team of administrators, counselors, or teachers
- Are committed to shifting from traditional point-based behavior tracking to meaningful, supportive interactions
Affordable, High-Quality CICO Professional Development
- $1,000 per individual, or
- $2,400 for school teams of up to three participants
Participation Requirements for CICO Cohort
For the greatest impact, each team is expected to:
- Attend at least 9 out of the 10 sessions as a full team
- Implement incremental changes monthly, guided by session content (as in, we learn a thing, then we try the thing, then we make the thing better together)
- Regularly reflect on their practice and outcomes
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a spirit of collaborative learning
